Heb 10:26-27 For if we sin WILLFULLY after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. There is a big difference between sinning ACCIDENTALLY or IGNORANCELY and sinning WILLYFULLY and INTENTIONALLY. If you know you did wrong, repent! And if you know something is wrong, do not do it! If you did something wrong by mistake, know that Jesus's blood, sacrificed on the cross, atone for future sins. But you did something wrong WILLFULLY, the above passage says that there is no more sacrifice for sin. It is "Once Saved" + "Commitment to Jesus" = "Always Saved" where "Commitment to Jesus" means - having an active faith, - living a life of repentance, and - obeying the Lord. A person, who is "Committed to Jesus", will repent as needed. This person will NOT sin WILLFULLY. Hence, these verses (i.e., Heb 10:26-27) will apply to that person. ********** All scriptures are from the Updated King James Version bible which can found at http://www.geocities.com/updatedkjv/ .
