CELEBRATE PASSOVER OR EASTER? - YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE
One view is, Easter is pagan and should be avoided. The opposing view is, we should be able to
celebrate Christ's resurrection and avoid the pagan's activities on Easter. I consider this issue
to be Christian liberty issue. Personally, I rather steer clear of any hint of being associated
with paganism. You decide what your position is. Just remember that you are accountable to the
Lord about your decision. And will have to explain your actions during the judgment of Christ.
Passover
Some scriptures about Passover are
Lev 23:4-5
`These are appointed seasons of Jehovah, holy convocations, which ye proclaim in their appointed
seasons: in the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings, is the passover
to Jehovah;
Num 9:2-3
`Also, the sons of Israel prepare the passover in its appointed season; in the fourteenth day of
this month between the evenings ye prepare it in its appointed season; according to all its
statutes, and according to all its ordinances ye prepare it.'
Deut 16:1
`Observe the month of Abib -- and thou hast made a passover to Jehovah thy God, for in the month of
Abib hath Jehovah thy God brought thee out of Egypt by night;
Eze 45;21
`In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye have the passover, a feast of seven
days, unleavened food is eaten.
The Lord instructed His People to observe the Passover.
Paganism of Easter

Easter refers to a pagan god.
"Ishtar", which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their
gods that they called "Tammuz", who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and
the sun-god. [1]
"Ostara, also known as The Spring or Vernal Equinox, the Festival of Trees, Alban Eilir, Ostara, the
Rites of Spring, and the Rites of Eostre, occurs between March 19 and 21 and marks the first day of
true Spring. Day and night are equal on this day, hence the name Equinox. It is observed by Pagans
throughout the world. For Wiccans and Witches, Ostara is a fertility festival celebrating the birth
of Spring and the reawakening of life from the Earth ... [2]
The Oxford English Dictionary reads, "Easter. The name is derived from Eostre, the name of a goddess
whose festival was celebrated at the vernal equinox; her name shows that she was originally the
dawn-goddess." Compton's Encyclopedia reads, "Our name Easter comes from Eostre, an ancient
Anglo-Saxon goddess, originally of the dawn. In pagan times an annual spring festival was held in
her honor." Academic American Encyclopedia reads, "According to the Venerable Bede, the name Easter
derived from the pagan spring festival of the Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostre." [3]
The word Easter is a name for the queen of heaven found in the Bible. Around the world this goddess
is known as Ishtar, Eostre, Astarte. Another Bible name for this pagan deity is Ashtoreth. [4]
Basically, almost every vile, profane and idolatrous practice you can think of originated at Babel
with Queen Easter/Ishtar (Semiramis), the Mother Goddess and Nimrod. As the people scattered from
Babel with their different languages, they, of course, used different names for Nimrod (Tammuz) and
Semiramis. Some called the Mother Goddess "ISHTAR" (originally pronounced "Easter"). In other
lands, she was called Eostre, Astarte, Ostera, and Eastre. Other names for Semiramis, the Mother
Goddess include: Wife of Baal, Ashtaroth or Ashtoreth, and Queen of Heaven. The Mother goddess
was frequently worshipped as the goddess of fertility - and as a sort of Mother Nature and goddess
of Spring and sexual love and birth. She was also worshipped as a mediator between god and man.
Sexual orgies and temple prostitutes were often used in her worship and in attempting to gain her
favor.

Easter bunny has pagan origin.
The rabbit is well known as a sexual symbol of fertility. In various parts of the world, religions
which developed from Babel also associate the rabbit with periodicity, both human and lunar (Egypt,
China, etc.). As you may remember, the Mother Goddess Easter (Semiramis) is associated with the
Moon. In other words, the Easter bunny symbolizes the Mother Goddess. Annual Spring time fertility
rituals are associated worship of the Mother Goddess and Tammuz, the reincarnation of her husband
Nimrod.[5]

Easter Eggs are idols.
Every year, on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, a celebration
was made. It was Ishtar's Sunday and was celebrated with rabbits and eggs. [1]
Regarding Easter eggs, Encyclopedia Britannica states, "The egg as a symbol of fertility and of
renewal of life goes back to the ancient Egyptians and Persians, who had also the custom of coloring
and eating eggs during their spring festival." The New Book of Knowledge (1978) declares, "One of
the best-known Easter symbols is the egg, which has symbolized renewed life since ancient days. The
egg is said to be a symbol of life because in all living creatures life begins in the egg."

"The egg was a sacred symbol among the Babylonians. They believed an old fable about an egg of
wondrous size which was supposed to have fallen from heaven into the Euphrates River. From this
marvelous egg - according to the ancient story - the Goddess Astarte (Easter) [Semiramis], was
hatched. And so the egg came to symbolize the Goddess Easter."
The idea of a mystic egg spread from Babylon to many parts of the world. In Rome, the mystic egg
preceded processions in honor of the Mother Goddess Roman. The egg was part of the sacred ceremonies
of the Mysteries of Bacchus. The Druids used the egg as their sacred emblem. In Northern Europe,
China and Japan the eggs were colored for their sacred festivals.
The egg was also a symbol of fertility; Easter (Semiramis) was the goddess of Fertility. The Easter
egg is a symbol of the pagan Mother Goddess, and it even bears one of her names.

Easter Sunrise services is a worship of the Sun.
These customs of Easter honor Baal, who is also Satan, and is still worshipped as the "Rising Sun"
and his house is the "House of the Rising Sun." How many churches have "sunrise services" on
Ishtar's day and face the rising sun in the East? [1]

Holy Cross Buns were to Baal and Tammuz.
Worshippers were to meditate upon the sacred mysteries of Baal and Tammuz, and to make the sign of
the "T" in front of their hearts as they worshipped. They also ate sacred cakes with the marking of

Ham is part of Easter celebrations.
Ishtar also proclaimed that because Tammuz was killed by a pig, that a pig must be eaten on that

The issue is accountability. A prophet is like a nosy mailman delivering a piece of the Lord's
mail, but happened to had read it. The prophet's job is to deliver the mail and that's it.
Prophets do not need to make things happen. It is the job of the recipients to pray over the
message and to decide what to do. I.e., the recipients may refutes it, may delay, may do one step,
or whatever. The recipients are accountable for responding correctly to the prophetic message.

You are accountable for your actions about Easter. And this is not for just yourself. You are
accountable for misleading other believers especially those whom are weak in the Lord. If you are
a spiritual leader (parents, cell group leaders, ministry leaders, deacons, elders, pastors,
missionaries, etc.), you are definitely accountable for those following you. You may be celebrating
the Lord's resurrection on Easter Sunday, but does this lead others to participate in pagan
activities such as Easter Egg hunts?
I spent most of my Christian walk celebrating Easter (tsk, tsk, tsk). And I was a spectator to
several Easter Eggs hunts (tsk, tsk, tsk). At Christ's judgment seat, I am sure He will discuss
other sins I have. But it won't be about Easter during the past decade. If you insist on
celebrating Easter, be ready to talk to Jesus about it on the day of judgment. Personally, I
rather be completely clear instead of drabbling in a "gray" area.

The name, Easter
Easter is a name of a pagan God. Use anything else. My mother church use
"Resurrection Sunday". Thinking back, this is wrong since Jesus did NOT rose on Sunday
(including Galilean or Judean Sunday). Use something like Celebration Sunday, He is Risen,
etc.

These services are Baal's worship - worship of the sun.

And he answering said to them that -- `To you it hath been given to know the secrets of the reign of
the heavens, and to these it hath not been given, for whoever hath, it shall be given to him, and he

You may be wondering why I did not link the answer obviously. It is for same reason that Jesus
taught in similes (other translations have parables). Most people came to Jesus to "watch the show"
(see and/or receive healings and other miracles). Only a few would be hungry for the truth that
Jesus spoke and dug deeper for the meaning of the similes. The answer is for those whom are hungry
and would spend time to investigate for the truth. If you are indifference, then you move on. It
is your choice. Just remember that the Lord does not like His People to be indifference.

Roman Calendar has Passover 2022 as Friday, April 15. But Jewish days start the evening before.
Thus Passover 2022 starts on Thursday sunset, March 27. The first Passover Seder dinner is
the next day, Friday dinner, after nightfall. You will be blessed to eat a Passover Seder dinner.
Many people often eat a Passover Seder on the second night as well. Passover celebration lasts 8
days until Saturday sunset, April 23 (although some Jews celebrate Passover 7, instead of 8, days).
I exhort you to attend a Passover dinner. Passover is a time of worship and its celebration has much
prophetic significance. I know you will be blessed.
